I am not sure I can consume anymore chocolate. Although, I would sure like to try. It is tasting so good to me at the moment. Our building owners brought by this plastic jack o lantern full of yummy halloween candy. Can't seem to pry myself away from it! So delicious. Dinner tonight is with the girls. There are 4 of us, and we are going to order take out. Looking forward to that ... we have been meaning to get together for a while. Since the marathon is over, I have been drinking a bit. 1) because I am soooo sore and it helps to make the pain go away, and 2) I am done with the marathon, and I had committed to not drinking while I am training. I am not really that big of a drinker, but I do like to have a glass or two of wine every once in a while. We split a bottle of pinot grigio last night and it was delicious. I always have to watch how much I drink because it makes me gain weight... but it sure felt nice to have a couple drinks lately. Last night was tough to sleep. Wrigley was snuggling with me really tight and Dax was sleeping really close to me. I needed to move around a lot... and didn't feel like I could, and I was really stiff this morning. At one point, I got up and watched Dawson's Creek. He got up to hang out with me... and then I got tired again, so I went to bed. It was sort of a crazy night. I will be glad when the stiffness, and soreness subsides. I talked to a guy in the dog park last night who has run 4 marathons previously, and was really excited to hear that I ran the Marine Corp on Sunday. He was there cheering everyone on. He was hurt or he would have run it as well. It was fun to swap stories with him. He seems to be hooked on them. I certainly don't feel that way. I think I have had my fun... and don't care to do it anymore. Who knows? I may want to by next year.
